Potato Bread Rolls - Ramadan Dish


Ingredients

4 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1 cup mashed potatoes
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
2 tablespoons water
4 slices white bread





Directions

*Heat one tablespoon of oil in a frying pan over medium high heat. Add the chopped onions, and saute until they are softened.
* Mix the turmeric and chili powder into the frying pan and remove the pan from the heat. Stir the mashed potatoes and cilantro into the frying pan; stir to mix well.
*Sprinkle a few drops of water onto each slice of bread. Flatten the bread gently. Spoon 1/4 of the potato mixture onto the slice of bread. Roll the bread into a cylinder. Seal the edges together by pinching the ends with your fingers, use more water if it is necessary to keep the bread sealed. *Do the same with the remaining 3 slices of bread.
*Pour the three tablespoons of oil into a large frying pan or wok. Heat the oil to a high heat. Place the bread rolls into the hot oil and fry until crispy.




Chocolate Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:

    * 1 tbsp. butter
    * 2 tbsp. cocoa
    * 1 tbsp. cornstarch
    * 1 c. skim milk
    * 2 tsp. sugar substitute
    * 1/8 tsp. salt




Chocolate Sauce Method:

Melt butter. Melt mix, cocoa, cornstarch and salt with the harvester
Butter until smooth. Add milk and sugar substitute and cook
Medium heat, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened remove
Heat. Stir in vanilla. Set pan in ice water and stir until

Ingredients:

    * 1/4 c. sifted all purpose flour
    * 1 tsp. baking powder
    * 1/4 tsp. salt
    * 3 tbsp. cocoa
    * 1/4 c. cold coffee
    * 1 tbsp. sugar substitute
    * 1 egg
    * 1 tbsp. salad oil
    * 1/4 c. cold water
    * 1 tsp. vanilla




Chocolate Cookies Method:

Flour, baking powder, soda, and salt and sift together. Mix cocoa and
Coffee. Beat eggs and sugar substitute, water, salad oil, and vanilla
And stir in dry ingredients, mixing only until smooth. Stir in cocoa
And coffee mixture. Line an 8 inch round layer cake pan with wax
Paper and 1 / 8 teaspoon of butter with the oil. Pour batter into pan;
Replace water in shallow pan with foil and cover pan. Bake at 350
Degrees for 25 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on cake rack.
Cut layer in half crosswise to make half of a two-layer cake. A
= 1 fruit and 1 fat exchange - provided the service.

Aloo Ki Puri Recipe

Aloo Ki Puri Recipe
Ingredients:

    * 2 cups Plain Flour
    * 1 tsp Salt
    * Water as required
    * 4 Boiled Potatoes (medium size)
    * 3 Green chilies (finely chopped)
    * 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
    * Red Chilli Powder to taste
    * Vegetable oil as needed
    * Salt to taste





Aloo Ki Puri Recipe Method:

Sieve the flour and add salt to it.
Add water and knead it to make soft dough.
It is covered with a wet cloth and keep aside for half an hour.
Peel and mash potatoes.
Add green pepper and mix it well.
Combine the remaining ingredients and mix well.
Divide the dough into small balls and a small size as a ball rolls at a time.
Put a small amount of potato mixture over it and close it from all sides are right.
Gently roll in Puri.
For deep-frying it in hot oil until they blow.
Puris are ready to serve.

Bhindi Raita Recipe

Ingredients:

    * 100 gms bhindi (okra/ lady’s fingers) - cut into small pieces
    * 2 cups dahi (curds/ yogurt) - whisked
    * 4 tbsp + 1 tsp oil
    * Salt to taste
    * 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
    * 1 dry red chilli





Bhindi Raita Recipe Method:

Heat 4 tbsp oil in a pan and fry okra. Put aside.
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and dried red peppers. When they splutter remove.
Fried okra, salt and mustard seeds and add well beaten curd and red pepper on top early. Serve salad cold okra.

Eggless Mango Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

    * All purpose flour-1cup
    * Baking powder-1tsp
    * Baking soda-1/2 tsp
    * Cardamom powder-1 tsp
    * Condensed milk-1/2 cup
    * Mango puree-1 1/2 cups
    * Butter-1/4 cup
    * Vanilla essence-1 tsp
    * Milk-40ml





Eggless Mango Cake Method:

With a wheat flour, milk powder, baking powder, baking soda and sift.
A vessel in the condensed milk, mango puree, butter, vanilla essence and beat together until well blended mix
Dry ingredients and mix with a whisk just until a smooth consistency batter.If is too thick, then mix with the more or to add more green milk.Do Add wet ingredients.
Preheat the oven to bake in a 180 C an 8 "cake pan oil and pour batter bake about 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Coconut Rice Recipe

Coconut Rice Recipe
Ingredients:

    * 1 cup rice
    * 1/2 coconut (nariyal) - grated (scraped)
    * 1 tbsp oil
    * 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
    * Salt to taste
    * A pinch of hing (asafoetida)
    * 2 dry red chillies
    * 2 tsp urad dal (split black gram)
    * 1 tbsp cashew nuts





Coconut Rice Recipe Method:

Cook rice and set aside to cool.
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, hing, dry red chillies, urad dal and cashew nuts.
When mustard seeds start spluttering, add the coconut until golden brown and sauté. Add salt. Combine this with rice and poppadums (papad) and serve hot with coconut rice.
